Course of production analysis from a historical viewpoint. Searching for sources of inspiration. Historical parallels. Working with source material. Reasoning on the manner of one's own production design.

DS 1,2,3,4,5 lectures.

Visits to contemporary productions and subsequent analysis from a scenic design viewpoint.
- Course contents:

Course about the final bachelor's thesis paper originating in the study of the source material from museums and archives (sketches, photography, manuscripts, critiques). Preparation of written passages at each class. Verbal analysis and practice in defense.

Selected passages related to bachelor's assignment tasks.
- Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Analysis of contemporary productions from the viewpoint of knowledge of traditional scenic design methods. Practical application of trade terminology. Visits to exhibitions and subsequent classes on methods applied in fine arts exhibitions (exhibition content, scientific contributions, exhibition critique, architectural treatment, graphics, lighting, etc.)

75% attendance at lectures and classes, independent creation of the final bachelor's theory paper (approx. 20 pages of text).
