- Study Objectives:

Cílem semináře je pomoci studentovi s volbou tématu, se sestavením časového plánu pro jeho zpracování, navést ho, jak by měl postupovat při bibliografickém a praktickém výzkumu, jak získané materiály zpracovat a jak fyzicky práci rozvrhnout a uspořádat. Poté za průběžných individuálních i hromadných konzultací pedagogové dané magisterské specializace pomáhá k dosažení stanovených cílů výzkumu.
- Mode of delivery:

Instruction is through a group class in which individual topics of dissertation research and practice tasks are discussed and student mutually inspire each other with shared questions and issues. Aside from this the classes are based on individual consultations focused on resolving particular issues of individual dissertations.

It is recommended that the student, according to their topic, actively search for a nd participate in lectures at other higher education institutes, professional seminars, ex. professional organizations or conferences related to the given issues.

This course covers individual research and practice tasks for the thesis paper and students mutually inspire one another with the sharing of questions and issues. Aside from this the classes are based on individual consultations focused on resolving particular problems of individual papers.

To successfully complete the course the following is necessary:
On-going consultations on work with a specific instructor and participation in the group classes.
After the first semester is an obligatory oral presentation before a departmental instructor committee and Master's study students at the Dept of Production with the following criteria:
- In the oral presentation the student must submit written evidence proving the level of development and the understanding of the selected topic (the scope is not established, the date is given one week prior to the established date of the oral presentations);
- the length of the presentation is 10 minutes;
- the content: a report on the course of the work, a presentation of the collected sources, partial results, further procedure plans;
- use of presentation techniques is desired but not required;
- level of the demonstrated presentation skills will not, in the January date (as opposed to the summer) a part of the grading.
