Study Objectives:

Praktické prohlubování koloristických zkušeností realizací vlastního cvičení.

Digital cinematography laboratory work and consultations in UPP, Achtung 4K and Cinepost Barrandov post-production.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Completion of the Bachelor's study and Coloring 1.

Course contents:

Lectures - Film Effects II - Digital post-production in continuation of „Digital Technology“.

This is an elective course for all FAMU study students with a basic knowledge of effects technology. This course is obligatory for Camera students.

Digital tools and processes in Effects practice, 2D graphics and 2D animation, 3D graphics and 3D animation. Introduction to the technology used, standards, formats and distinctions thereof.

Color correction, masks, digital clamping, multi-layer composition, use of 3D models. Scanning and recording of a digital to a film negative. The latest production-technological links used in the world.

Part of the lectures is to a large extent represented by screenings and practical examples of the technology used in a study of the effects processes in current international cinematography through to the professional work of the instructor. The lectures are supplemented with guests, important experts in the field.
