The aim of this subject is to introduce the students with the practical solutions of photography of specific tasks such as photography of specific surfaces and objects made of glass, metal, pottery and surface of human body. The students will also learn how to use technical equipment of the Department of Photography, including the ways how to compare images processed by the analogue and digital technologies.

Students will be acquaint with possible solution of realizations particular topics through the analysis of examples saved on different medias in comparison with practical examples of model situations realized during the tutorial.

- Course contents:

1.Introduction to work procedure with Sinar camera P3, digital Sinarback 54H and its possibilities to cooperate with Mamiya camera 465. The course enables compararison of results from analogue and digital photography.
Practical assignment: following assignments will always a confrontation of both technologies. Analog photography on baryt paper, digital photography (always one for each topic) printed on school printer Epson and material Tecco.
2.Technical rudiments of photographing glass, possibilities of lighting, used material
Has to be submitted:
1 photography of glass 30x40 cm on light background with black continuous line or with combination of appropriate glance + digital file and print.
1 photography of glass 30x40 cm on dark background with light continuous line or with combination of appropriate glance + digital file and print.
3.Technical rudiments of photography of metal objects.
1 photography 30x40 cm + digital file and print.
4.Technical rudiments of photography of pottery (porcelain)
1 photography 30x40 cm on light background + digital file and print.
1 photography 30x40 cm on dark background + digital file and print.
5.Technical rudiments of photography of surface of human body.
1 photography 30x40 cm of the body + digital file and print.
