Study Objectives:

Students are introduced to the basics of measuring the quality and quantity of light in relation to the photographic material and establishing the proper exposure.

Mode of delivery:

Theory lectures are supplemented with practical examples, rich image material and experimental tests.

Light and radiation

Light quality measurement.

Filters

Light quantity measurement, photometric laws

Passive photometric concepts.

Photographic material sensitivity.

Light measurer calibration.

Establishment of proper exposure.
