Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Good management of the main study and its technique and artistic issues.

Secure and excellent bearing in music references of the past and the style periods.

Managament of basic teaching issues.

Study of basic chamber music with piano.

Study of very difficult solo repertoire, audition for the graduation concert (orchestra, Martinů Hall). Acquiring independent habits in practicing. Selection of graduation concert repertoire.

General syllabus.

IV year: a full evening recital program.

Recommended or required reading:

Basic Piano literature of the Baroque, Pre-Classical, Viennese Classical, Romantic, Impressionistic and pivotal repertoire of the 20th century (Prokofiev, Debussy, Ravel and others).This fundamental literature is expanded to the required repertoire for various national and international level contests.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods:

In this semester student assist in managing the piano course. They are responsible for its content.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Award of credit by the main study instructor for completion of the study plan.
