Mastering the manner of playing in a symphony orchestra, instrumental and performance management of an orchestra repertoire. Emphasis is place on technical flexibility in managing a composition in the shortest possible time, independent preparation of one's part in bowing and fingering. Introduction to the practical side of playing in an orchestra - following conductor gestures, collective performance thought, tuning and intonation, the role of the concert master and leading groups.
