Students continue to learn the instrument potential. Complex compositions are selected. Playing issues are defined and a way of improving playing is sought.

- Course contents:

The Piccolo is found in many music ensembles. This instrument is extensively used in orchestras, as a solo instrument and other music genres. This course gradually provides students will all skills and knowledge needed in playing the piccolo. The course is oriented towards orchestra literature, solo parts for piccolo. An overwhelming majority of flautists pick the piccolo for it use in an orchestra. The piccolo is very prominent in symphony and opera works. Therefore room is given in this course for orchestra literature. Therefore room is provided for orchestra literature. For those not interested in playing in an orchestra there is still presented some individual orchestra parts but also solo literature and literature with piano or chamber orchestra accompaniment is prepared. Considering the difference is student piccolo playing may be great an individual instructional path is chosen. Also the reason the student wants to play the piccolo is definitive for the course methodology.
