The dances are further enhanced with additional motifs so the pupils are prepared for working with a professional ensemble. The student help each other creation their own variations and joined step motifs and whole dances.
Enhanced pupil endurance: Student check as to what manner it is possible to work using folkdance on the endurance of the pupils. Dance combinations are created to be longer (for stamina) and more difficult (for technical growth). Step variations are created base on these examples: Mazurpolka with prestep and side step jump. polka step ornamented with prestep and side step jump, Skočna in various connection to other steps and all possible manners of execution. All other covered steps and their variations are used.
Improvisation in folkdance: In the original folk environment improvisation was an inseparable part of the dance culture. Students are introduced to manners of arranging non-emphasized improvisation forms into intruction of folkdance. The manners are various and other possibilities may be created by the students themselves (changing the instructed dance according to pupil imagination, creation of a particular part of the dance combination, free improvisation on the song). Improvisation in dance with no firm connection to the music accompaniment is an improvisation on the basic dance structure.
Dance repertoire: Additional variations of Southern Bohemian reels, Skočna in pairs, Holubička, Kopaničařský Čardáš, Ondraš in fours, selected dances from Slovak folkdances.
