- Course contents:

A required course for Music Theory study. Two hours per week in the Summer semester in the first year of Master's study. The course is concluded with an exam over the lecture material in the Winter and Summer semester (Organology 1). Series 1: Presentation of individual groups of musical instruments according to organological classification. European Instrumentalist. Series 2: Selected items of instrumentalists outside of European ethnic music culture. Series 3: Electophones. Lectures are supplemented with audio and video examples.
