Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Ability to resolve drama situations as a starting point for the style of the production and treatment of the drama space.

Development of associative thought as a requirement of stage metaphor.

Managment of the time dimension of a drama piece as a basic character of a set-design.

Mode of study:

Dramatic situation analysis. Consultation on assignment treatments. Production resources. Concept and manner of set visualization. Creating drawings, models and objects.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Arts-crafts skills. Associative thinking skills. Feeling for the drama potential of a space.

Recommended optional programme components:

Assisting in a professional theatre. Collaborating in exercises in rehearsals. Collaboration in implementing scenic design in a school theatre.
