Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Consultations and production collaboration activities. Searching for model examples abroad /for inspiration/. Leading to independence creative versatility. Ability to financially secure a project from domestic and foreign sources.

Mode of study:

This course takes place in the form of discussions, lectures and classes and DVD screenings in the classroom and selected locations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Completion of 204NPM2 Production in Non-traditional Locations 2.

To distinguish between realistic and non-realistic artistic vision. Adaptation of one's project/idea to an unknown and often unsafe environment. Mutual communications with other students and instructors.

Recommended optional programme components:

Introduction to film production and the activities of a realty agency, as the case may be completion of a study abroad.

Course contents:

- Selection of appropriat locations considering the given topic

- Production and creative originality and flexibility in a non-traditional space/idea

- Active collaboration on the topic and its development

- Public space issues

- Establishing communications with institutions, corresponding management groups and local civil initiatives

- Personal and technical-material project determinations

- Sponsor, marketing and advertisement activities, PR in project preparation phases.

- Contact with passively interested parties from the project location.

- Work during the course of the project execution

- Active perception of the work

- Review of the project after execution, final report.
