Learning outcomes of the course unit:

1) In harmony with the main study the student is acquainted with manners of technical preparations of a stage piece (technology, visualization of implementation proposals).

2) Preparation of accompanying graphics materials.

Mode of study:

1) Technical treatment of the main semester assignment in the Set-design course

2) Theatre program or poster for a given topic (piece)

3) Alternative procedures

4) Partial view of contemporary technology trends.

The poster and program proposals are in the bachelor's study part of the semester exhibition.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Computer skills. Basic knowledge of some graphics programs.

Creativity

Elementary knowledge of descriptive geometry.

Recommended optional programme components:

Basics of DTP.

Course contents:

Computer graphics as an inseparable part of set-design production and a source of inspiration.

Set-designer technical aspect preparations, practice treatments.

Creativity with computer graphics programs as an essential part of set-designer education.

Recommended or required reading:

Graphics program tutorials.

Exercises, classes, consultations

Assessment methods and criteria:

In collaboration with the main study instructor, the extent and quality of the completed assignments is assessed.
