Learning outcomes of the course unit:

1) Through the Project Salon (and linked course Project Market) the development of collaboration among students from different studies, study-years, departments and faculties is initiated,

2) To create a space where the students can create - beyond their study plan - additional projects in the the spirit of the intentions of the Dept of Alternative and Puppet Theatre.

3) To build a platform where students try out the preparations of their projects from the first idea, through assembling a creative team to its final presentation so they contain, along iwth the clear formulation of intentions, also a production concept and in the most concrete for as the result of the group piece of an entire production team.

4) To develop student skills, in a convincing manner, to present themselves and their word, respectively the quality of their artistic team.

Mode of study:

Readings, discussions, individual and team consultations with the instructor.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

1. Artistic invention

2. Inclination to teamwork.

3. Ability to guide a project from idea to a developed and persuasive form of presentation.

No elective requirements.

Course contents:

The Projects Salon is a platform for student independent work on projects whose rise they initiat themselves in cooperation with students from various studies, study years and faculties. In this course they develop their subject matter, put together a creative team and prepare their vision for implementation with consideration of real production requirements and limits. The Projects Salon develops creativity, their sense of teamwork and the ability to resolve unexpected problems and situations.
