Learning outcomes of the course unit:

In this course students are to become acquainted with the basics of acting:

1. From the perspective of acting theory

2. A knowledge of some basic developmental stages in modern new era acting developments.

3. become acquainted with some elementary acting principles through practice etudes.

Fundamental issues and dates in acting theory

Development of acting from the Enlightenment to post Modern

Exercise topics: behaviour, experience, acting, body movement, interaction

class participation and submitted course paper

an oral discussion about the basic issues in acting theory and practice.
