Learning outcomes of the course unit:

acquisition and confirmation of knowledge in non-standard image shooting.

Mode of study:

Analysis of given topics, technical conditions and emotional effect of film samples. Preparation and completion of the exercise - film shooting and post-production.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Theory and practice knowledge within the framework of the to-date study.

THEORY PREPARATIONS:

A/ Early Evening

- explanation of concept, use in film practice, emotional effect

- implementation in daylight, in early evening lighting.

- exposure conditions, color tuning, compensatory lighting - intensity and chromaticity, real light sources in a shot, used of correcting and transmission filters, the sky in a shot, used of contrast light, time restrictions and the like.

B/ AMERICAN NIGHT

the same at early evening, further factors limiting and supporting intentions, shooting during sunset and in sunlight.

C/ - analysis of scene shooting ideas in real conditions, Interiors with a view of an early evening exterior. Examples of various interior lighting intensities and chromaticities. Implementation in the practical exercises.

D/ - theory analysis of examples of fluid shot transitions EARLY EVENING to NIGHT in one exterior scene (changes in chromaticity, tone, transition from day to artificial lighting.
