Example 1:
How much light does the given density allow::
0,3 - 0,75 - 0,9 - 1,15 - 2,0 - 1,7 - 0,15 - 0,35 - 1,8 - 2,8 - 3,0. Calculation executed without a table and calculator on a simple given known value /0,3 - 1,0 - 0,15 etc./
Example 2:
What is the density of the stratum, which allows the given amount of light:
1/4 - 1/8 - 1/16 - 1/32 - 1/5 - 1/3 - 1/6 - 1/2 - 1/10 - 1/15 - 1/14. If the precise result is not achievable, it is sufficient to determine a value between the nearest known highest and lowest numbers.
Example 3:
Exposure conditions without a filter: screen 16, speed 25 shots/s. We arrange a grey filter with density x. How much must we change the exposure? Establish the filter factor /3a/, how to execute the change of the exposure conditions by the change of screen /3b/, change in speed /3c/. What will the exposure period be in a speed change in a 180°, 110° and 45° sector /3d, 3e, 3f/.
Example 4:
Exposure conditions: screen x, speed y, 180°. We request a phote with a screen 2. How do we execute exposure change o of the sector /4a/, How to arrange the grey filter/determine the factor - /4b/, How to change the speed /4c/.
Example 5:
Value 1, sensitogram completed with a sensitometer with a film constant 0,15 are 0,30 - 0,32 - 0,36 - 0,40 - 0,45 - 0,56 - 0,65 - 0,73 - 0,82 - 0,90 - 0,98 - 1,08 - 1,15 - 1,24 - 1,32 - 1,40 - 1,48 - 1,52. Veil 0,30.
On a second sensitogram: 0,06 - 0,06 - 0,06 - 0,06 - 0,07 - 0,18 - 0,32 - 0,62 - 1,08 - 1,50 - 1,95 - 2,37 - 2,80 - 3,20. Veil 0,06.
Execute both characteristic arches, determine the value of steepness. Determine the difference in sensitivity of both materials /in log. exposure/, according to 0,1over the veil, according to 0,85 over veil. Sensitivity difference place in log H.
Example 6:
Values according to sample 5. Execute a construction copy so that a 0,1 negative 1. sensitogram achieves 2,00 in positive /2, sensitogram/. Then determine the straight line copy number /one copy number 0,05/ construct the copy arch on 1,2,3,4 numbers of density and 1,2,3,4 thinner. Verbally explain what happens in enlarging and reducing the copy exposure.
Example 7:
What is the growth in density in the slope value 0.65, growth in the logarithm of exposition x /7a/?
What is the exposition logarithm growth in the slope value 0.65, when ther is a growth in the value y /7b/?
What is the slop value, when the growth exposition log growth 0,3 correspond to the value z /c/?
This is always a straight part characteristic, mark on the characteristic arch how to execute the calculation.
Example 8:
Distance between light source points and the photocell is 100cm. The photo cell displays 1000lx. How many cm must change the distance so the photocell displays value x lx.
Example 9:
A negative film is exposed in sensimeter with a film constant 0.2. It has density 0,3 - 0,32 - 0,36 - 0,40 - 0,48 - 0,58 - 0,70 - 0,83 - 0,98 - 1,11 - 1,25 - 1,40 - 1,52 - 1,62 - 1,70. Veilj 0,3. Execute a construction of the internal veil when the exposure value of the veil in lux-seconds equal x% of the exposture value of the densest field.
Example 10:
Exposition lighting is 500lx. In slope 0,65 the corresponding density is 1,10. What will the density be in lighting Ex?
Example 11:
How far must the source be when the actor lighting on a rail x meters long change not more than twice/lighting closest to the source must be double the lighting of the farthest position/?
Example 12:
On a figure, produce a source with distance x meter of lighting 1000lx. The corresponding screen is 2,00. What screen do you set up when you add supplementary lighting to the figure made up of the same source in a distance of y meters /12a/. What is the average lighting on the figure? /12b/.
