Acquisition of a general overview of TV recording principles in various genres. Understanding of a multi-camera recording system. Practice in sequential recording in introductory study exercises.

The lectures should introduce students to televsion recording principles for all TV genres, television recording technology necessary for different types of programs. The introduction includes a short historical overview of the development of TV broadcasting and development of TV recording technology. Studnts are introduced gradually to the main camera producers and compare them according to their specific characteristics necessary for various TV programs. The use and accessories of various types of transfer vehicles are presented. The most frequent exercise principles for individual genres are sketched out on a floorplan from lighting the announcer to the dramatic light atmosphere treatment in a TV staging or film. The final topic covers editing potential, the chronology of finishing work. Mentioned also is the significant potential of correction and effects post-production and film to video media transfer principles.
