Inspiration can be found everywhere and what is the path from inspiration to idea and a little about from idea to implementation.
I present a collage of selected short films and various other visual material which I have found and continues to inspire me. Each is presented with enthusiasm.
We then discuss everyday life as inspiration. I present a chaos theory of creativity as a possible path to success and a set of cards which through image and zen work, I can bring out of crisis in the „creative process.“
In this manner we come to idea topics and examples of some of the best commercial advertisements which are, surprisingly, a type of „haiku“ of film in its compressed form and a short time in potential in which to convey the most fundamental.
From advertisement we go to the opposite area - completely to amateur film and the charm it sometime has.
Just a step further and we are at „Art Bruto“, the creation of self-dialog, schizophrenia without training but with powerful imagination, obsession....
Each participant should bring:
1. something which at one time was an inspiration, which they were enthusiastic about, and adores still today ...almost is ashamed by how much still.
2. something which is still inspirational, in any form or content it has.
3. a video recording from 1 - 5 minutes which was done by an amateur who never had a camera in their hands, where as a workshop participant never had a camera given to them and forced to record something that meant something to the amateur, or even better, record something pretty or ugly.
4. voluntary: bring an example of something (clip from a film or music video...) which they really hate.
I think the day will be quite filled
Forgive my poor Czech
I haven't spoken in a very long time..I look forward to seeing you
Sincere greetings!
