Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim is the abililty to manage the Avid non-linear editing system.

Mode of study:

presentation with moderated discussions over working procedures.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

General knowledge of the Windows operating system.

Completion of „Avid Media Composer 1“

Recommended optional programme components:

No elective requirements necessary.

Course contents:

This continuation course introduces advance manipulations of material and creation of complex compositional forms as layered material, generating transitions, titles, color correction, and creating the sound element. The Avid brand system is not only an editing system but also an independent application for sound post-production. Attention is devoted to the proper manners of exporting for sound completion, data output in working with film originals and characteristic of processing recorded files.
