Pavel Vančát: Self-presentation course (The Artist Quick and Easy)
For application in today's world of art it is necessary to be able to intelligibly and convincingly present one's work. This workshop focuses on three basic topics: General prinicples of gallery, institution, collection function and arts financing. Secondly, personal curator consultations regarding potenital structuring and presentation of one's work. An finally, the practical start should be a quality original portfolio in electronic form (web/pdf)
Pavel Vančát (*1976) curator and publicist, addressing photography and contemporary art. From 2008-2010, he was the curator for the Gallery Klatovy/Klenová. He is the author of "Mutujici Medium: Photography in Czech Art 1990-2010 and other exhibits and publications. Currently he is the curator for the StartPoint: Prize for Emerging Artists project.
