Course description:

The Final Exhibition Photo Series presents the long-term focused work of the student, and should demonstrate the skills acquired throughout his or her entire studies. The Final Photo Series for Exhibition is the main part of the final examinations, it is a finals subject, and is assessed by a committee of teachers whether it complies with the year's assignment.

The Final Photo Series for Exhibition in the fifth year can be later presented in the Master programme examination. It is therefore assess ed only within the bounds of its meeting the year's requirements needed for completing the year. The Exhibition Photo Series, if presented by the student, is assessed and graded in the final Master programme examination. Accepting it within this examination does not in any way anticipate its later evaluation nor does it necessarily imply its acceptance in the State final exams for the Master degree!

Assignments: (Practical 3P7)

The Exhibition Series is a set of at least eight photographs that make an integrated whole. The manner in which they are made, their size, and the way they are mounted must first be agreed to by the supervisor. The student may present the Photo Series for Exhibition in another form if he or she can explain why this is necessary.

Winter semester:

Systematic work on the series; consultations with the supervisor.

Summer semester:

Systematic work on completing the Exhibition Photo Series, with intensive consultations with the supervisor.
