- Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim of the course is to guide the student to a multi-faceted broadening of a musical experience employable in their creative sound practice.
- Mode of study:

Playing a musical instrument.
Students are obliged to attend at least three live concert performances of their choice and write a review of the dramaturgy, composition quality and performance an dabout the appropriateness of the acoustic dimensions of the environment considering the instrumentation.

- Course contents:

The second semester of the course is devoted to learning concert practice, listening to and analysing various genres of music production. Students assess the dramaturgy of the repertoire, express their subjective opinion of the composition quality of the compositions and level of musician perfomance. Also considered is the relationship of the music to the environment, influence of the acoustic parameters of the hall on the resulting impression, etc. Also applied is knowledge acquired in the previous study of music practice and theory courses - music research, history of music, musical instruments research and lectures in acoustics. Students are required to attend at least three public music events and write a paper about each which is a requirement for the credit discussion about the given issues.
