We shall concentrate on the last ten years though, of course, some of the fictive short movies made only several years after 1990 will be mentioned, too.At first we shall explain that the word „highlights“ which you will find at once on the internet is different from our point of view which is connected with film art. Countries and their artists that will be mentioned won't be only from the USA or Europe but also from Latin America and Asia. The works of these artists are often presented at the festivals in Rotterdam or Oberhausen but you would find them also in Austria - and last but not least at Barcelona in Spain.
Several important names: Peter Greenaway, Henry Hills, Mara Mattuschka, Dietmar Brehm, Siegfried A. Fruhauf, Norbert Pfaffenbichler, Peter Tscherkassky, Thomas Renoldner, Constantino Ciervo, Vera Neubauer, Abigail Child, Erich Goldmann, Nir Evron, Gary Hill, Uriel Orlow, Richard T. Walker, Reinhold Bidner, Herwig Kerschner
There are also several others that will be presented, too.
