Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Students learn more about technologies of image records and their characteristics on the basis of the historical overview of the emergence and development of photography.

The history of photography.

Photochemistry and photographic materials manufacturing.

The formation of latent image and its developing.

Principles of color photography.

Masking.

The current photographic materials.

The basics of optics.

Characteristics of photographic lenses.
