Monochord. Tempered tuning. Clavichord. Harpsichord. Nascent of the fortepiano. Difference between English and Viennese mechanics. The current fortepiano and its production, brands, etc. Pedals and their function in the fortepiano. Description of pedal mechanics, capo bar. Piano non-moving parts. Piano intoning and tuning. Agraffe. The string part of the piano. Keyboard development. Double-repetitive mechanics. Instrument tuning. Instrument maintenance. Minor adjusments. Piano tone and its characteristics, manners of sound wave dispersion, etc. keyboard, keys, their cladding, balance, etc. Attempts at improving keyboards. Electronics in keyboards production.
