Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim is to teach students to independently perform figured and non-figured bass music of the 17th and 18th centuries including polyphonic compositions and partiments.

Performance of compositions in instruction classes and in concert.

Course contents:

Higher level skills in playing basso-continuo, Partimenta playing (basso-continuo without a solo line). Performance of polyphonic basso-continuo compositions.
