Learning outcomes of the course unit:

It is important that the student become acquainted with all instruments with which they will be required in the future. No matte rwhat music area they are involved in, these instruments are indispensible guides of each artist whether marginal or as a specialization.

Recommended optional programme components:

Chamber literature of duets, trios and other combinations of wind, string, keyboard and percussion instruments.

Course contents:

This course, basically, completes that which the previous course was able to achieve. To expande the knowledge of the student and skills with the instrument which was chosen for this study. It is possible to also expand the number of secondary instruments. The students should be able to often select the proper instrument and literature which may be arranged into the public performance. Of course particular specialized genres need to taken into consideration. This is the main task of this course. The literature is supplemented further by some well-known orchestral works in which those instruments are used. In many cases, according to the maturity of the student, we use more demanding recital literature.
