This course provides a knowledge of orchestral literature and practice of the most important solos which an orchestral musician may encounter. In all courses the composers gradually appear and their important solos for Bassoon in the orchestra. This course works with domestic and foreign orchestra study editions and specialized part of Czech orchestras (ČF, FOK, SOČR, ND).

- Course contents:

This course provides students with knowledge of orchestral literature and practices the most important solos with which the orchestral musician may encounter. This course practices Czech Symphony orchestral parts of the music of A. Dvořák, B. Martinů, J Suk.

Orchestral studies: Albin Frehsee, Emil Wipperich, Johannes Ritzkowsky, Czech Philharmonic parts.

Regular participation in symphony and opera orchestra auditions.
- Assessment methods and criteria:

Assessment of instrument and orchestra specifics. Fulfillment of the set repertoire. AKS certification. All concluded with an award of credit.
