Selection and creation of themes or libretto. Selection of music. Organizational preparations of a dance project. This course provides a guide and instructive advice for the choreograph in the independent creation of a larger or more important theatre dance production with particular consideration of the directing-dramaturgical and organizational aspects. Execution of the point script of the prepared production.

Dramaturgy selection of subject matter appropriate for dancers - a ballet production. Inspiration by musical or literary content. The differences in preparing a directorial concept of a libretto for an abstract ballet and and plot-action dance production. Organizational preparations and development of the point script, schedule (dramaturgical balance and drama). The point script is an indication of the professionalness of the choreographer. The point script and schedulre are particularly important for the music composer who should compose the dance-drama production. However, other collaborators are welcomed: the set designer acquires an idea of the stage set changes, the costumer gets information about the overall atmosphere and period of the work and the demands on the costuming, the light designer gets an idea of the lighting atmosphere, the stage manager is informed of the demands of the stage changes, etc. The professionally prepared work selected by the student will be implemented on stage at the end of the second semester.
