Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Development of teaching ablitiies and skills in the instruction of contemporary dance technique and formation of individual teaching style.

Mode of study:

Exercises, analysis of recorded media samples, discussion.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Completion of Modern Dance Methods 5 and 6.

Recommended optional programme components:

A recommended elective element is attendance at classes and workshops arranged by other professional institutions.

Course contents:

This course serves for researching methods and educational approaches in modern dance techniques. This potential is researched and verified through an integration of movement styles. Instruction is through exercises and classes in which students can verify their methodic and instructional skills in dance instruction. An analysis of student instruction performance follows.
