During this semester work with soloists, duets, trios and larger numbers of performers will be covered.
Additionallly, each student is required to prepare a theory paper and in practice, present their interpretation with samples of choreography inspired by folkdance: Czech Dance - polka, furiant - (for 3 pairs); Hungarian dance - Czardas - (solo pair); Polish dance - Mazurka - (presentation by 6 pairs); Slovak dance - Čapáš, Guralský dance, Verbuňk - (5 pairs); Russian dance (7 pairs with solo presentations); Spanish dance - Sevillian, Farruca, Zapateados (solo pair or solo). For each sample the student selects their own music sample, prepares the choreographic notation of the dance performance, at least, the ground plan and personally presents the samples.
