Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Communication techniques for performing arts aid artists in harmonize their performance art with other elements of verbal and non-verbal communication. The artist must know how to express themself on stage freely without inhibitions. They must be able to communicate with students, conductors, musician colleagues. Covered also is communication with the media (television, press, radio). Particular attention is devoted to conductors where all kinds of non-verbal communication which is independent of conducting technique.

Course contents:

Komunikační techniky pro interpretační obory pomáhají interpretům, aby sladili své interpretační umění s dalšími složkami verbální i neverbální komunikace. Interpret se musí umět vyjádřit na pódiu volně a bez zábra, musí komunikovat jak s posluchači, tak s dirigentem a kolegou hudebníkem. Probírána je i komunikace s médii (televize, tisk, rozhlas). Zvláštní pozornost je věnována dirigentům, kde je probírána veškerá neverbuáln í komunikace, která nesouvisí s technikou dirigování.
