2. Knowledge of historical relationships of all original creation components.
3. Individual and special approaches to one's mime genre - analysis of the original project.
4. Survey of the most important cultural spaces and theatres, centers, schools and festivals in modern mime arts and new circus.

Overview of modern mime theatre and new circus.
Theatre ensembles, artists, centers, schools and mime arts festivals.
Main genres and development of mime theatre and new circus.
- Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Fundamental knowledge of the history and present theatre, mime and dance arts. A good bearing in modern trends and development of the main genres of mime theatre and new circus.
- Recommended optional programme components:

Individual study of partial topics which are related to student creations. Researching literature, development of course paper and analysis of a give topic, classification and research of video examples, photo-documenation and other achive material.

Theory instruction in original creations in mime theatre.
Libretto, Libretto and mime, libretto forms and prinicples, libretto and new mime.
The actor and mime, characteristics of acting and the acting sources of mime, background of mime, the mime and his trade.
Space, set design, light design, costuming and music elements.
Background of dramaturgy and directing in mime theatre.
