The aim of the course is a brief introduction to the work of the music director and development of requirements for teamworks in a common composition - sound and music directors.

1) The role of the music director in recording music
2) The position of the music director in the recording team and his status for the performers
3) Manners of managing notes about recordings, organization systems for individual takes, managing editing lists during recording
4) Communicating with performers, the presence of the conductor or composer
5) Strategic procedures for recording individual takes
6) Editing location choice considering the recording technology
7) Editing location consistency from objective and subjective viewpoints
8) Malfunctions at the editing location, intonation, dynamics, rhythmic, color, expression, breaks, non-musical elements consistency
9) Music editing ethics
10) Exercises.
