Basic types and properties of microphones.
Mixing tables, design and characteristics, amplifiers, correctors, indicators.
Analog magnetic recording, principle, properties, magnetic tapes, magnetic tape players.
Digital recording, principle, properties, DAT cassettes and tape players, minidisk.
Recording to hard disk, digital sound processors.
Basic types, properties and arrangement of speakers and their systems, headphones.
Vinyl discs, CD, recording principles and properties.
Recording studio types and equipment
Sound directing room types and equipment
Music recording technology and techniques.
