Training in independent creative writing climaxes with their attempt to write their own dramatic text.

1/ Creativity in original literary expression.

2/ General knowledge of Czech and World drama literature

3/ Basic good orientation in media

4/ Analysis and review skills.

Recommended optional programme components:

Continuous readings which are recommended to students by the instructor individually.

Course contents:

From seeking and identifying a theme and dramatic situations permitting communicated articulation to the arrangement of dramatic composition and structure of a play.

Recommended or required reading:

Depending on the selected subject area.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods:

Students develop through writing an assigned topic task and interpret it. The instructor clarifies concepts and the nature of structure.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Credit is awarded based on original writing results and class participation.
