The fundament of the Feldenkrais method is the potential transformation of non-functioning body patterns and the mental learning process with one's body and history. Each has the ability to learn through this method regardless of physical-mental condition, age, abilities and skills. Through non-mechanical movement repetition based on motor skills, each person, in their own time, are able through experience and awareness to analyse movement and its functional variations.
1) Increasing the quality of internal sense of body.
2) Experience and subsequent conscious understanding of directly connecting the body and mind.
3) Integration of new functional body and mental patterns and their subsequent automation.
4) Understanding and use of potential self-correction in movement transferred to various areas of our lives.
