Learning outcomes of the course unit:

1. What is CAD, its use, advantages and disadvantages - variations in CAD programs.

2. Creation of technical drawings in Autodesk AutoCAD.

Mode of study:

Instruction in a number of extended workshops (arranged schedule) when the presentation and execution of a set of functions will be followed by tried on examples with possible consultations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

1. General knowledge in working with a computer (turn on, install software)

2. Bring one's own computer (it is not possible to install a student version of AutoCAD on a school computer).

Credit will be awarded if the student ast the end of the semester demonstrates abilities to work with AutoCAD on technical documentation of their choice (an ideal task is from other classes simultaneously attended) and then print.
