1. Theory study. After completion of the introductory passage of the history of set-design: Antiquity, The Renaissance and theatre of the 17th and 18th centuries, students are introduced to additional developmental phases of stage space, stage objects and stage images.
In particular, the so called 20th century stage revolution will be presented as well as the function of the trade in current conditions of theatre set-design and its presentation in public spaces.

Set-design and research
The influence of natural sciences discoveries, in particular phsysics and chemistry, anthropology and the humanities, psychology, sociology and their influence on the development and interpretation of potential set-design issues.
