From sound to intonation, choral and instrumental ensemble of harmonious sound

Mode of study:

1. Lecture

2. Twentieth century, Jazz 'standards', adjustment of jazz compositions, orchestrations according to playing opportunities, playing all types of musical instruments, solo and ensemble singing, working with a microphone and microphone port, improvisation, analysis of seen (music notation) and heard music (music recording).

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Precision of vocal performance, expression, dynamic, instrumental play

Recommended optional programme components:

Participation in a presentation of the faculty „Sometimes Orchestra.“

Curriculum:

20th Century choral creation, swing, blues, rumba, samba, bossa nova, etc.

Syllabus:

V. Tormis, P.Eben, B.Martinů, K.Penderecki, D.Elington, C.Jobim. C.Corea etc.).

Adaptations of jazz compositions: The Singers Unlimited, Manhattan Transfer, Take

Six, J. Ježek (adapted by M.Kořínek and V.Šrámek).

Also practice in compositions according to the instructions of the senior teacher in the actor's workshop
