Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Creativity, sense of rhythm and aural analysis of a partner's spoken performance, perceiving and differentiating between spatial demands.

Mode of study:

Practical exercises, speaking training, voice and space etudes, variations and speaking treatments of various types of texts. Partner feedback. Investigation of the potential of one's voice.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Creativity, sense of rhythm and aural analysis of a partner's spoken performance, perceiving and differentiating between spatial demands.

Recommended optional programme components:

No elective requirements.

Course contents:

Vocal and speech etudes in space, mutual reflection on spoken performance, examining possible intonation on the base of given impulses and mutual listening in partnership.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Criteria for awarding credit is the mastery of assigned speaking and voice etudes with a personal approach and creativity.

A condition for credit is at least 80% attendance.
