This course has several components. At the basic level this is the character of the location (genius loci) as a synthesis of natural, local and regional, historical and other aspects. The next level, the location is in a given Central European social and political environment and yet at the higher level we compare global processes. Any location lies at the intersection of several basic components from the local to the global. During instruction we attempt to find these, identify them and work with them.
