Course contents:

The course has several elements. At the very basic level, this is about the character of the location (genius loci) as a synthesis of natural, local, regional, historical and other aspects. A level higher, the location in a given Central European social and political surrounding. Still higher we compare global processes. Any location lies at the intersection of several basic components from completely local to global. In the course of instruction we attempt to find, define and work with them.
