The study aim is to adopt and understand modern forms of inter-media artistic expression and appy it in open situations in public spaces

- Course contents:

Artistic media have gone through stormy changes in the last decade, in relation to new technological approaches as well as in relation to the development of multi-cultural societies. In Alternatives of the 21st Century, lectures will present defining currents of contemporary performing arts, which exist on the borders of visual and theatre expression. As well this theory presentation will be used by the students for their own artistic projects for site-specific or participatory intervention in a public space. In the preparations for these projects, the students are acquainted with the basic creation, curation and production processes which are characterized in artistic practice in a public space.
