This course prepares students for mastering material for the basis of the field necessary not only for successful performace in the final bachelor's exam, creation of the orginal bachelor's diploma paper, but also for future independent movement within the framework of organizing and managing work in the theatre.

- Course contents:

Block instruction in the final year presents parts of modern theatre management and management processes such as marketing, info about PR, fundraising and multi-source financing, sponsoring, multiplying the possible theatre product posibilities and merchandising and other current phenomena. This is always connected to theatre practice with examples from the past or abroad.
In more detail, a dialog (the interactive form of instruction) aimed at the basic management functions (prediction and planning, organizing, management, operations and checking) as well as a profile of a modern manager which necessary for related topics such as marketing: market analysis, vision, setting the mission and goals, analyzing the strong and weak points of the theatre subject and internal chances and risks (SWOT analysis). Furthermore methods of price creating, distribution and promotion including publicity, the media mix, etc., including being well versed in the minimums required by the Production Dept.

Credit is awarded based on:
attendance and participation in class. The maximum excused absences is 3.
Sitting the semester test
Course paper presentation
During the semester participation in class discussion is required. The exam is written. The overall grading is comprised of 20% for class participation, 60% for the written exam and 20% for the course paper presentation.
Conditions for successful completion of the course: class participation, completion and preparation of the course paper and completing the oral exam.
