The course aim is to introduce students to critique theory requirements of the irrelevance of the writer's intentions for the evaluation of an artistic work. Students will be introduced to arguments which emphasis the necessity of a knowledge of the historical context and writer's intent for legitimate critique.

Definition:
The course is focused on presenting and discussion questions of it is not for the arts critic necessary to know the period context of an original work and its intention. As well we demonstrate various ways to understand an author's intentions. Concepts which support this position are presented.
Curriculum:
1) Critique of the relevance of original critiqu for arts critique
2) An author's intentions as one of the elements of arranging a work into the proper catergory - K. Walton
3) Hermeneutika and phenomenological animation of the author's intentions - E.D. Hirsch
