Feature-Length Screenplay - Literary Adaptation

Course contents:

The task is a professional full-fledged screenplay from a selected literary topic (fiction, theatre play, etc.) which corresponds to the requirement for completing a feature-length film. Taken into consideration will be the literary basis selected, dimension in which the screenwriter heart and soul matches the model, the drama structure, characters, quality and function of the dialogue applied, selection and drama function of the environment selected and the selected situation. The loyalty to the model should be in balance with the intentions of the screenwriter.

Regular workshop work.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Credit is awarded by the workshop lead based on the dramaturgy work on one version of a screenplay for a feature-length film and final version submission - developed from a literary basis.
