Practical adoption of shooting and post-production processing of a short exercise.

Preparations in the course, independent completion and analysis of shooting material with the instructor.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Completion of the course, „Camera Basics.“

Learning shooting and post production development for the short exercise.

Course contents:

1st year Screenwriting and Dramaturgy Dept. exercises:

Image etude, 3-5 minutes in the course „Fundamentals of Camera.“ Students implement the exercise independently in all professions.

Materal: 1x DV 60

Image technology: DV camera, no lighting

Editing: 2 frequency DV editing table with a technician

Sound post-production: in the framework of the frequency and editing

Transfer: DV 60', DV - DVD video

Archiving: DVD video - FAMU video library.

Credit is awarded based on:

Active participation in preparations, presentation of rough material for analysis with the instructor and submission of the complete exercise on a DV cassette and DVD.
