Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Investigating self-presentation potential and sources of inspiration for „classical“ writing. Investigating experience and unmined areas or theory topics regarding scriptwriting and dramaturgy.

Mode of study:

Lectures and discussions on considerations of cyberspace. Discussions and group internet research in creating and publishing a group blog.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Common PC and internet use skills.

Recommended optional programme components:

Course contents:

The internet as media space in which new genre specifics arise.

1.) At least one brief glimpse into network theory as a new manner of thinking about the world.

2.) Web research and investigating examples and their collection, analysis and discussion on a group blog.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods:

Lecture and discussions on the nature of cyberspace. Discussion and collective research of the internet through the creation and publication of a group web-blog.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Credit is awarded based on group activities in class and the group web project, and minimum 75% attendance.
